Founder
Tasha Nichole is a community leader, mentor, and founder of Genuinely Me, Inc., a California-based nonprofit promoting diversity and cultural awareness in justice, healthcare, education, and social services. Drawing on her biracial, tri-cultural background and personal experience overcoming gang life, she has guided young men toward graduation, college, and productive lives.
Certified as a Community Health Worker, Trauma-Informed Care Specialist, and Registered Drug and Alcohol Counselor, Tasha bridges gaps between high-risk individuals, communities, and law enforcement. Her journey from gang involvement to Violence Intervention Professional fuels her empathy, insight, and dedication to transforming lives.
President
LaTeara Barnes serves as President of Genuinely Me, bringing a bold, community-centered vision rooted in prevention, empowerment, and sustainable change. She also holds leadership roles as Secretary of the Project Fighting Chance Board of Directors and Vice President of the SoCal Warriors Football and Cheer Board of Directors, reflecting her deep commitment to mission-driven organizations.
In her professional role as Prevention and Outreach Supervisor at Option House Inc., LaTeara oversees trainings, community outreach, volunteers and interns, and the Teen Relationship Abuse Prevention Program—advancing education, advocacy, and trauma-informed prevention efforts across the community. She is an active contributor to the Child Abuse Awareness Committee, Women’s Awareness Subcommittee, and Community Policy Advisory Committee, where her work supports impactful policy development and public awareness initiatives.
LaTeara holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Nonprofit Leadership and brings over 15 years of service to the communities of San Bernardino County. Her background includes 12 years in the nonprofit sector, 10 years in domestic violence and human trafficking prevention, 7 years in youth empowerment, and 4 years in nonprofit leadership and strategic planning. As President of Genuinely Me, she leads with purpose, strategy, and heart—committed to building safer, stronger, and more resilient communities.

Ronnie Miller is a respected community leader, advocate, and serial entrepreneur dedicated to empowering families, advancing safety, and creating pathways to healing and economic opportunity. She is the CEO & Founder of Sista’s Making A Difference and Co-Founder of Powered By Bosses, leading initiatives in workforce development, community wellness, restorative healing circles, youth and family engagement, and entrepreneurship-focused events.
Ronnie serves as Outreach Chair for Citrus Valley High School’s African American Parent Advisory Council (AAPAC), is a board member of Genuinely Me, Inc., and participates in the Women’s Awareness Subcommittee. As a member of Crime Survivors for Safety, she advocates for survivor-centered policies, prevention strategies, and community-driven solutions.
Her work is rooted in service, resilience, and a steadfast commitment to creating sustainable, lasting impact in the communities she serves.
