At Genuinely Me, Inc., our mission is to increase cultural diversity awareness, tools, and knowledge. Genuinely Me empowers, enables, and supports community members and others in their efforts to realize the importance of cultural diversity. Genuinely Me will reach, teach, and equip individuals and groups with the cultural diversity tools and knowledge that helps them work together to solve problems and improve their lives in their communities.
At Genuinely Me, we believe education is a powerful form of prevention. We work closely with local schools, parents, and even law enforcement to identify youth at risk and provide them with targeted support. Through mentorship, in-school workshops, and life-skills training, we equip adolescents with tools to navigate challenges, make informed choices, and pursue brighter futures. Our collaborative model ensures we're reaching the right individuals, at the right time, with the right resources.
Healing begins within. Genuinely Me takes a trauma-informed approach to support the emotional and mental well-beingof justice-involved youth and families affected by violence. Through art therapy, group sessions, empowerment workshops, and individualized guidance, we foster environments where youth feel safe, seen, and supported. By addressing mental wellness alongside security, we help young people build resilience and regain a sense of control in their lives.
When violence or trauma strikes, time is critical. Our team is trained to respond quickly through emergency interventions, crisis navigation, and community-based support. Whether it’s a youth recently impacted by gang-related harm or a family facing an unexpected crisis, Genuinely Me steps in with compassion and coordination. We connect individuals to immediate resources, including mental health services, relocation support, or emergency needs, helping stabilize lives when it matters most.
At Genuinely Me, Inc., we are dedicated to addressing critical community challenges by providing tailored services that foster trust and collaboration. Each month, we serve over 25 new families, positively impacting more than 1,356 individuals annually.
